Quest for the Lost Ark (1x120 minutes)
The existence and location of the Ark of the Covenant has remained one of the most enduring mysteries in archaeology. Professor Tudor Parfitt from London's School of Oriental and African Studies will reveal where he believes the Ark is. Follow this global quest-detective as he decodes ancient texts and pieces together clues. Ultimately he builds a picture of what he thinks the Ark looks like and where it is. The journey takes viewers through Israelite wars, Philistine shrines, Solomon's Temple and Africa to the final, critical clue which led Parfitt to its current location.

Follow an adventurous archaeologist as he journeys to the farthest reaches of the earth on a quest driven by the belief that the secrets of the past have yet to be revealed. Carefully preserved mummies and entombed skeletons are a link to ancient civilizations. Each presents a mystery to unravel, a life to understand, a world to explore and a death to reveal. But these long-hidden remains do not yield their secrets easily. Ancient tombs are protected by lush vegetation, inhospitable terrain, ever-changing weather, dangerous wildlife and man-made obstacles. The pursuit of mummies, and answers to the mysteries they raise, will take our adventurer to some of the most spectacular and remote places on our planet.

The gift of the Nile, Egypt owes its very existence to the waters of the great river, which for thousands of years has made barren land fertile, given life to one of history's great civilisations, and sustained a population now approaching 80 million people. Yet those same waters are now threatening some of the world's most spectacular monuments. The ancient temples of Luxor and Karnak, and several others in southern Egypt, are in real danger from rising ground water in the Nile Valley, (1x 60 minutes).

An international co-produced series with S4CI and Arts and Entertainment Network US, which focuses on technology from the ancient world. The series asks the question, ‘are we really as technically advanced as we would like to believe?’ It features incredible machines, and creations from the Greeks and Romans, and explores the level of sophistication and science which was prevalent in the ancient classical world.
Shot on location in Italy, Greece, Egypt, Holland and the UK, the series features drama reconstructions, 3D CGI and working recreations of ancient machines.
